John Wilmoth (UCB) leads the team of researchers at Berkeley and is Director of the project. Vladimir Shkolnikov (MPIDR) heads the team at Max Planck and is Co-Director of the project. Dana Glei (UCB) is the Project Coordinator. Dmitri Jdanov (MPIDR), Kirill Andreev, and Carl Boe (UCB) wrote the core computer programs that compute population estimates, death rates and life tables. Beate Danielsen provided programming assistance for checking data quality.
Carl Mason
(UCB) created the structure for the internal document archive
used by the Berkeley team and provides additional computer
support.
Lisa Yang is the Research Assistant, and Lindsay Bergstrom
is the Student Assistant for the UCB team.
Sigrid Gellers-Barkmann is the MPIDR Team Coordinator. Mila Andreeva
is the Research Specialist and Database Manager for the UCB team
at CIDR.
